Overview
Vadgaon Budruk is a rapidly growing suburb located in the South of Pune. It is also known as the “Vadgaon” in local area and come under Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Limit.  It is situated along the famous belt of Sinhagad Road that connects Swargate with Anand Nagar, Manik Baug, Vadgaon Phata, Dhayari Phata and Nanded City. It is near to Katraj-Dehu Road Bypass in between Punes’ Chandni Chowk entry and Katraj entry. National Defence Academy (NDA). It is located about 8 kms from center of Pune. Anand Nagar, Padmavati Nagar, Dhankawadi, Khedekar Nagar, Nanded, Dhayari, Shivane, Warje, Kothrud and Sadashiv Peth are its neighboring localities. But now-a-days, it is well known place in the IT Industry as many IT & BPO employees reside in the area. Japanese themed park has emerged as one of the major attractions of this locale that attracts a number of visitors from nearby places. NH48 and NH65, and AH47 pass through the locality and connects Vadgaon Budruk to the other parts of the Pune City. This locality is famous for National Defence Academy and Sinhagad Institute. Connectivity
Vadgaon Budruk has excellent connectivity to Pune city via PMPML, buses, auto etc. There are frequent buses from Swargate to Dhayari. The city is very close to Pune-Bangalore highway and has good connectivity at both sides.

It also enjoys excellent connectivity to Pune International Airport, located at a driving distance of 24.7 kms via Pune Nagar Road/Samrat Ashok Road.

Shivajinagar, Pune Junction, Khadki, Ghorpadi and Hadapsar are its nearby railway station. However, Shivajinagar Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Vadgaon Budruk located at a driving distance of 10.2 kms via Sinhagad Road.
