Overview
Chinchwad is one of the rapidly developing areas, situated in the western suburbs of Pune city. It comes under Pune Municipal Corporation limit. The twin cities (Pimpri-Chinchwad) as well as the cantonment areas of Pune, Khadki and Dehu Road together form the urban core of the Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR). It enjoys excellent connectivity to Pune International Airport which is located at a distance of 26 km via Old Mumbai-Pune Highway. The Old Mumbai–Pune Highway runs next to the station.

Aundh-Ravet BRTS Road, Aditya Birla Hospital Marg, Datta Mandir Road, Aundh-Ravet BRTS Road, Kalewadi Main Road, Hinjewadi-Kasarsai Road, and Wakad-Bhosari BRTS Road are the internal roads of Chinchwad which further has its access to NH 48.

Akurdi, Chinchwad, Pimpri, Kasarwadi, Kasarwadi are nearby railway stations to Chinchwad. However, Chinchwad is the nearest and major railway station which is mere 1.5 km away from this locality via Chinchwad Road.
